I see the linky tools on a LOT of blogs, but every time I enter and list my url site it says that my site is not found. Can you please explain how to enter and link your blog? Thanks!
Hi Brent! I can’t tell you enough just how grateful I am for your blog critique. I just had Casey from Hot Bliggity Blog do the font changes you recommended and put a brand new wider and narrower header up tonight. I had made one new header but it was still too fat.
Having larger font for the posts and larger post titles, plus making the sidebar fonts smaller helped tremendously!
I did even more work on the header..new photos plus I figured out a way to make the header the exact size I needed it before screen capturing it from the draw document. It is MUCH clearer than even when I first told you I had made changes.
Also, I’ve put up very informative category links on the navigation bar and spent a long time making sure each link had very specific titles. It’s much easier to find the information you want.
You have absolutely helped me transform my blog. It looks fantastic! You are to a blog what my friend Maria Killam (interior decorator) is to a high-end home. You know just what needs to be done to make a blog not only beautiful..but navigable..and visitor friendly. I’ve got my subscription box right up at the top! I didn’t know I had 200 subscribers already!!
Thanks a million! Your critique was worth every single penny. In fact, I consider it a real bargain. I knew my blog needed work but I didn’t know exactly what was wrong. I sat and took notes while watching your video and wrote 23 things on my list that you gave me to work on..even though you rated my original blog from A- to B-. Every bit of advice was practical (and 100% right on target!) You were so pleasant and matter of fact that I wasn’t even embarrassed ..well maybe a teeny bit about the header..but I knew the header was messed up in the first place. My hubby had the original on his computer and was traveling. I had made a change and it messed up the header..when couldn’t be fixed for four weeks!
Anyway, I feel like my blog compares with any of the really good blogs out there now. It’s professional and pleasant in every way. You’d never guess it’s a ‘mommy’ blog!
Thanks again..so very much!
Thank you for doing these! I always find your posts so helpful.
I always learn so much from your critiques thank you ! PS praying for Abby too
