Blogger-to-Book-Logo400My new service “Blogger to Book” is now online and available. Get your entire blog in a printable/editable file and, if you want, ready to buy as a book.  Some great reasons:

  • A keep sake of your blog journey
  • A gift for your spouse or children
  • A great archive of your writing
  • A wonderful way to preserve the memories, photos and history
  • The holidays are coming… what a great present for extended family, grandparents and friends

Blogger to Book does just what the name says: gets all your blog posts, images and/or comments and creates a file you can print or share anywhere: your own printer or an on-demand book publisher.

No Constraints, No High Priced Printing, No Bait-n-Switch

Unlike other services (online or download), Blogger to Book puts no limits or constraints on your book file. It’s YOURS. Edit it, print it, copy it, format it, give it away to the whole world, sell it… NO limitations like other blog-to-book software. And, you are not forced to buy expensive book printing from me in order to get your book or electronic file  (another little aggravating surprise I discovered about other offerings). In fact, if you have me format and upload your book to a service like Lulu.com, I don’t mark up the printing. You pay cost… only what the book printing service (of your choice) charges.

It’s your file, your content, your format, your choice… no limitations, no bait-n-hook, no high priced printing. Those are the reasons I decided to create Blogger to Book, so people would have a real choice, real freedom with their own content. I didn’t like the available blog-to-book services – in my opinion they are limiting and over-priced. So I created my own… such is the joy of competition!

Blogger-to-Book-Logo400You Don’t Need Blogger to Book… But You’ll Want It

I don’t believe in manipulating people or withholding all the facts. Trust is more important than a few bucks. You don’t need Blogger to Book. You can copy and paste each of your posts one by one, page by page, into a file. You can download your images, format them, resize them, and place them into the layout. You can learn how to format the content and prep it for book printing.  You can read help files about how to create a cover properly with the correct spine margins, bleed, format and dimensions. You can figure out how to upload it and get it printed.

But why spend dozens of hours (if not days; weeks if you’ve got a big blog) learning all that, and doing the work by hand when $29 gets the basics done for you… and done right?

I am very interested. However, I was wondering a little how it works. I would like to have the book printed. I have been blogging since 2007 so that would be a HUGE book so I was thinking of doing it in increments such as my wedding, pregnancy and now my son’s first year of life (i.e., 3 different books.) However, how does it work in terms of deleting posts (to try to keep the size of the book down) etc.? How do we eventually get it to book?

I would download your blog and send you the file. You can then edit it, break it up, whatever you need to do…. if you need me to help you with formatting for book printing after that, you would send it back to me…. depending on how much you need my help after downloading the initial contents, I would give you price for whatever you want me to do

I would definitely use this service if it was available for WordPress!

Is $29.00 the only cost? Are there extra fees? Could I pick and choose the entries I want (there are several that I wouldn’t want copied) and you could copy only the entries I select?

Do you have any references yet?

Thank you so much, I am very interested in this…

There are no hidden costs… whatever you choose, the price is clearly posted. Have you visited the site? http://www.bloggertobook.com

References? Not sure what you mean. Samples are on the site.

The software downloads all entries, but you can then edit the file any way you want. Delete, add, move things around… it’s your file.

This is an awesome service. While my current blog doesn’t have info content for a book, I’ll definitely keep this in mind when it does. Thanks!
