Thanks for posting this Brent. I am not a writer and I am sure that shows in my blog. I don't get a ton of comments. But its amazing to me the amount of emails I am receiving from those in the cancer community. I would love more comments and advice on my blog..and what needs work. Stop by when you get a second. I also love when I get a comment or email that my blog has made an positive impact on someone. That's why *So What * and thinking about what we put out there is important.
Also am looking at how to make a blog...is it a button??So people can link to my blog. I have no clue how to. I can do the art work for it. But the other part no clue. Thanks for all your input here. Although I can't read all the time due to my vision. I do appreciate the work you do here.

My greatest satisfaction comes from knowing that something I've communicated has a meaningful impact on a real life. Thanks so much for sharing....

Thanks, Brent! I just last night made myself a vow that every post from this day forward will have to pass two tests in order to be published: does it point to Jesus, and does it nurture the reader? I think that's my specific application of the general principle you present here. You confirm that I am moving in the right direction to improve the quality (and thus loyal traffic) of my blog.

Brent, I love this article. I have a friend who wants to monetize her blog, but her blog is boring! I am going to send this to her to give her ideas about how to make her writing more interesting. Thanks so much for the time you put into this! I've read every single post thus far, but am not always able to comment as I have 9 children under foot!
